This year, we are pleased to inform that a new Captain was elected for our company. He is none other than our Mr. Tonny Hii. Capt. Tonny has rose in BB through rank & file. In 1998, we are pleased to see him coming back to our company to serve as an officer and continue to serve in BB until today.

Our former captain, Mr. Joseph Tin has been appointed as our Honorary Captain. We really want to thank him and appreciate him for his past 21 years as 1st Sibu Captain. Under his leadership, 1st Sibu Company has been continuously blooming and expanding.

We pray that under the new leadership of Capt. Tonny, our company will continue to grow and reach a new horizon. May God lead him and bless 1st Sibu Company for the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom.

1st Mukah Company Enrolment Service

1st Mukah Company had its Enrolment Service on 23 Oct 2011. 46 band boys from 1st Sibu Company had the privilege to join in their enrolment and perform a band during the service. For 1st Mukah Company, there are 3 old boys and 3 new boys during the enrolment together with 4 Officers. We praise God for touching Mukah Methodist Church to revive the company once again. May God continue to bless them and keep them stronger.

Lt Hu Wei Ung sang a song called “Sibu” which was composed by pastor of Mukah Methodist Church. It was a very nice and beautiful song about Sibu.

2011 Mukah Band Tour & Mukah Methodist Church 50th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service

1st Sibu Company band had their Mukah band tour from 21-23 Oct 2011 in conjunction with Mukah Methodist Church 50th Anniversary Celebration. A total of 46 band members participated in the band tour accompanied by 2 Officers. We give thanks to our Lord and Mukah Methodist Church for inviting our band to join in their 50th anniversary celebration as well. During the thanksgiving service, our band had perform 3 songs; “Amazing Grace”, “Pachebel’s Canon” and “To God Be The Glory”.

2011 BB Sunday Bulletin Cover

Wesley Methodist Church has observed 10th July 2011 Sunday as BB Sunday. We give thanks to our Lord for his past guidance of 1st Sibu Company. Through BB Sunday, we were able to share the importance of BB ministry and how the church could work together with BB in transforming today youths. Our band also had the priviledge to perform in all 3 church services. A big thanks to all our band members for their efforts & times. May the Lord continue to lead 1st Sibu Company for the betterment of Christ’s kingdom.
